Correct Coaching Actions:

  1. Be alert and ready to take control.
  2. Direct student to brake in tight spots.
  3. Be calm, be kind, and be patient!
  4. Explain steps in sequence, during each maneuver.
  5. Stop car to review steps, reference points and diagrams in the book.
  6. Tell student how to correct errors.
  7. Give praise, to encourage student.
