A friend of DriverEd.com reported that he had attended a Safety Conference, where a speaker showed actual driving clips from DriveCam.com, showing "risky driving behaviors." To see a sample video clip: Click Here. DriveCam is a palm-sized video event recorder that is mounted on the windshield behind the rearview mirror and captures sights and sounds inside and outside the vehicle. Exceptional forces such as hard braking, swerving, collision, etc. cause the recorder to save critical seconds of audio and video footage immediately before and after the triggered event. This device could be very useful to parents of newly licensed teenage drivers.
